This page will allow you to select your style, input measurements and receive a basic estimate. This process will give you a base estimate for your project. The price may be higher determined by the unique elements of your project, e.g. materials, paint, stain.
For measurements, use a yardstick or steel tape measure, not a cloth tape measure. Take measurements in feet rounding off to the next highest half foot or foot.
Measure wall height from floor to ceiling. Exclude baseboards and moldings. Measure the length of each wall. Find the total square feet of the wall(s) by multiplying ceiling height by total wall length. Subtract areas that will not be covered. (Standard doors are about 21 square feet; standard windows about 12 square feet.)
These calculations give the total number of square feet to be covered.
